Along with the rest of the library staff and present club members, I'd like to introduce you to our school club and the state teen organization as well.  Terrebonne High School Library Club is a member of the Louisiana Teen-age Librarians Association (LTLA).  In fact, we've hosted the state president for three years out of the last eight; Mrs. J. Blanchard, THS Library Club sponsor served as the state Student Relations Chairman for two years; and we've held various state offices through the years.  

On these pages, I'd like to let you know what we're all about, inform you of required library club activities, share what we do in LTLA, and let you know of up coming events.  The pictures through out the following pages are of our past LTLA state convention scrapbook and bulletin board entries and some of our club Homecoming banners.  If there are other things you would like to see, email me.

Why New posting after February?

I'm anticipating website changes after LTLA conventions which are usually held in February.  There's one picture in particular I'd like to post now, but it would give away some of our convention secrets.  And we're desperately trying to win the spirit award one of these years!

Convention 2006-LTLA Goes Around the World

We strongly encourage and invite all school library clubs to consider joining LTLA.  Our yearly convention is usully held in early February in Alexandria.  Beginning festivities begin on Thursday evening for those of us who have a distance to travel and convention concludes before lunch on Saturday.  We'd love to meet and get to know you there.
