LTLA

The Louisiana Teen-Age Librarians Association has been in existance since the 1950's.  There are currently approximately 22 school library clubs from around the state involved in LTLA.  Any school library club having grades 6 -12 and a librarian who is a member of LASL are welcomed to join.  Objectives are to : increase student interest & participation in library work, promote friendship & cooperation between librarians & students throughout the state, develop leadership, & arouse interest in librarianship as a profession.
